
Luke’s goal as a financial advisor is to provide comprehensive financial advice based on stage of life, financial resources, tax and income situation, and investment risk appetite. In order to accomplish this, he takes his clients through the financial planning process since knowledge of a client’s goals and resources is essential to making informed investment recommendations. Financial planning topics include college planning, retirement saving, Social Security and pension claiming strategies, life insurance, long term care insurance, mortgages and other liabilities, cash/liquidity needs, investments, and more.
Luke graduated summa cum laude from Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, VA in 2010. He began his career in financial services at Morgan Stanley. Luke earned the Financial Planning Specialist™ and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designations. In 2019 Luke joined Legacy Financial Group as a financial advisor. Luke holds FINRA Series 7, 31, and 66 registrations through Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. and is Life & Health insurance licensed with the State of Maryland.
Luke and his wife Marissa live in Millersville, MD with their sons Luke & Christian, born in 2017 and 2019. Luke is originally from Wisconsin while Marissa is from upstate New York. Together they enjoy running, reading, chess, homebrewing, birding, and skiing.
